Cactusoft Construction can be used despite the current restrictions in Quebec. The software can be used with or without geolocation markers. Forepersons that have been given a phone or tablet can easily fill out timesheets for your workers. There’s also the option to fill in paper timesheets and save a photo of these timesheets. The Cactusoft Construction Suite can be easily used without the active participation of workers.

Absolutely! Cactusoft Construction was built to be customized for your business needs. For instance, you can create tasks that are relevant to your field (i.e. bricklaying, brick repointing, bowed brick repair), you can digitize your paper forms into online forms (i.e. COVID forms, mid-day forms, inspection forms), and you can add as many non-decree positions as you want for payroll preparation purposes.
Cactusoft Construction actually offers several functionalities that just aren’t in Excel (i.e. payroll preparation in accordance to the CCQ, precalculated mileages, emails forewarning the expiration of trainings by employee). Our software also allows for communication in real time of documents and photos which means that everyone is on the same page, at the office or on the worksite.

If you also need to manage vehicles like excavators or trucks, you can do so in the software by creating vehicle profiles, the same way that you can create worker files.
Once we set up your company’s dedicated instance of the software, you can access it from your preferred internet browser or download our app onto a phone/tablet. Yes, we do. We offer training sessions that are designed for each type of user of our software (for workers, forepersons, paymasters, and dispatchers). The training’s duration varies between 40 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the type of user and the type of training needed.
Your free trial will be ready within 48 hours of receiving the information you would like entered into your instance of the software. We also offer training for each of the 5 main groups of users of our software (workers, forepersons, paymasters, dispatchers, and administrators). According to your team’s availability, we can do at least one training per week which means that everyone on your team can be trained within 4 weeks.
No, you don’t have to. However, to truly benefit from the advantages that Cactusoft Construction has in organizing large teams, we recommend that your team should be composed of at least 15 workers.
